ABOUT THE PROJECT
Real Estate is a high stakes business with exacting legal documentation requirements. Scalability of the adminstration of the sale is often a bottleneck in the earning potential of an agent or an office.
The client wanted help exploring the potential for creating an application which would assist the adminstrator in ensuring she had accomplished all necessary actions to keep the sale on track and legal.
My contribution was interviewing and coding interviews with real estate administrators in order to visually document the classes of information and their connections to each other. This taxonomical foundation will be essential to the success of the application at higher levels.
In the course of two weeks part time, I delivered a site map hypothesis for both logged-in and anonymous users. Deeper details are available upon request, as some of the classes of information are proprietary.
Should the project go forward, a next step will be presenting the classes of information to target users and observing how they classify it, then updating this hypothesis based on the results.
