I specialize in rapid iterative design based on data collected from observation of end users. From the concept phase through implementation, user data is what guides our big bets. The teams I've done my best work on are characterized by tight integration with engineering to ensure the experience that customers have in using the shipped software exceeds their expectations.
My goal is to ensure that the products I work on result in increased customer confidence, brand loyalty, and customer satisfaction.
When I'm not making the world a better place for users of software, I make the world a better place for lovers of Cuban dance music, and for my three children who still live within 200 miles of me.
Each project will have it's own constraints and opportunities. I don't follow a hard and fast rule. When the stakes are really high, I have a lot of tools I can use to identify the best solution.
